70s Costumes - Groovy Hippies and More
Donning a costume from the 1970s might just bring a person’s groove back because the era is full of color, adventure and wonder. Perhaps, it is most known as the hippie era that it is understandable why a lot of people would opt for such a costume. Choosing would not be too hard because the trends then were rather pronounced.
For instance, it was very common to wear vests over tops and tie hair ties around the head. Both were used by both men and women. Dresses were very colorful and a lot of them would come in floral prints. Most of the time, dresses are worn over a peasant top and paired with boots. Bellbottoms would be one of the most obvious fail-safe accessory for 70s costumes. It is simple yet it has a huge impact.
A patchwork is also something that is very easy to flaunt. Patchworks may come in long skirts, blouses and dresses. If people want something simpler, they can opt for patchworks in bandanas, vests or bags.
There are also people who would like to be the center of attention when it comes to theme parties. These people would surely shell out time and money in perfecting their costumes. One of the things that they can do is to get a wig that would complement for their costume. Wigs are very effective in costume parties because people always get some laughs over it. Accessories such as necklaces, bangles and earrings would do a lot for the overall impact of the chosen costume.
Perhaps nothing would beat utilizing round-rimmed glasses and an acoustic guitar for that groovy hippie look. Disco kings and queens would also be fitting for this specific era. People who really want to get some attention should choose one-piece ensembles in bright colors. In this case, a pair disco ball earrings or a headdress may be ideal. Accessories should always be based on what look the person has envisioned.
If an event calls for 70s costumes, it means that a lot of people would be coming in the most common attires. People should have their own gimmicks to make their costumes more creative. For example, instead of choosing a muted color for a pair of bellbottom pants, they should go for those that come in electric blue, neon orange or apple green. Those would surely stand out in the crowd.
It does not have to be limited to the colors. People can play around with their accessories to make their costume more unique. For example, if it is the beadwork that they like, they can wear layers and layers of it as a necklace or attach it to their vests.
People can also count on numerous retro movies with these themes to help them find something that they want. After that, it would not be too hard to find them in specialty and costume shops. Costume shops would always have sizes and well-varied selections for everyone. This means that whether it is a children’s 70s party or an adult theme party, there would be countless costumes for everyone.

Retro 70s Costumes are fun. They add a little burst of color and light cheer to the already-dark and ghostly Halloween party. I love the idea!

Inspire me…I want your pleasure. Let me feel it wash over me, your moans and delights, your lusts…like rain. I want to lick it up like nectar until I’m drunk on you. Snaking around your body, my mouth eager, my tongue searching as you lay back on silk, given over, yearning, writhing beneath my touch. Let go of all but the moment. Take hold of your body’s pleasure. The tighter you grip, the hungrier you make me, moonlight shining from within you that transforms me into the wolf…motion over you and within you that licks fire at your skin, breath at your neck, teeth on your lip, hands on your thighs. Plunder me, plunder yourself…Inspire me to take you…bring me out…make me devour you.
